Sankt Augustin, Germany -- Adcuram Group AG has appointed Rolf Trippler as sales manager for its polyurethanes machinery business Hennecke GmbH.
Trippler will work alongside Alois Schmid, Hennecke's new managing director for technology, in selling the group's extensive range of equipment for the foam sector.
The engineering graduate brings 20 years of professional experience in international sales, most recently with SIG Corpoplast GmbH last & CO. Kg, a leading manufacturer of technology for making PET bottles. Trippler has been active in the building of plastics machinery since 1998, having previously worked for rubber equipment specialist Werner & Pfleiderer GmbH in Stuttgart, and before that for eupec GmbH, the tubing specialist in Mülheim.
Hennecke makes PU machines for producing block foam, appliances, sandwich elements and construction panels, with special expertise in mix-head technology. The medium-sized enterprise has units in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Singapore and Shanghai, China, and employs about 500 people globally, with a turnover in 2006 of about Euro 80 million ($101 million).
Privately owned industrial grouping Adcuram bought Hennecke in late 2007 from its former owner Bayer AG.
