Sandy, Utah -- Ruk Development Inc. (Rukse), which makes high-performance products inspired by racing, is introducing Jeep one-inch lift spacers made from high hardness polyurethane, that are machined instead of poured.
Rukse says other spacers are poured with softer polyurethane then hand finished, which can leave a porous surface, weakening the spacer. Rukse's high durometer spacers are poured with higher-density polyurethane for increased longevity, the company says.
The spacers are also machined to a gloss finish, which the company claims alleviates any imperfections with hand finishing.
Each spacer also has artistic ridges machined for what the company calls an "aesthetically pleasing look."
"Jeep owners demand quality-built parts: we built these spacers to last but we also wanted to make an artistic statement with them" said Greg Chan, marketing director, in the company's statement.
"There are a lot of these spacers being offered but we wanted to give the consumer a better performing spacer that they will want to show off proudly to other Jeepers."
