Columbus, Ohio – Saip, the Italy-based polyurethane machinery maker, has announced plans to open a new warehouse and technology hub in Columbus. It anticipates the US market will account for 30% of its sales in two years’ time.
Saip expands into the US
The company’s president, Walter Pozzi, said: 'As complete turnkey solutions in the PU industry are gaining traction, I believe our portfolio will fit the rapidly evolving needs of this growing market.'
He added that the new facility, for which no additional details were announced, will complement the company's activities across the Atlantic.
'Saip is already a player in North America, in different fields, such as insulated metal panels, commercial refrigeration panels and technical articles,' he said.
A team of engineers and technicians will support sales, according to commercial director, Luca Ceresa. His goal is to create a 'network of solid, and complementary partnerships that will provide broad access across the North American market'.
