Romano di Inverigo - Saip Equipment said it was invited to speak at the round table on foams organised by the United Nations in Santiago, Chile, along with the International Meeting on the Ozone Protection.
Lidia Bruzza, Saip's agent for Argentina, gave a presentation on Siap's advanced technological solutions -- which it says are designed to specifically replace the substances responsible for ozone depletion and global warming. Saip said in a 25 July news release that it supports the UN's efforts to replace CFCs and HCFCs, and that it has participated in over 300 UN projects in the last 15 years.
"Saip customers in [South America] region do not only need competitive equipment but complete solutions to allow the smoothest transition to the new substances, while maintaining the efficiency and profitability of their current business," Bruzza commented.
"Protecting the environment is not only a good practice but a shortcut to accelerating both business expansion and earnings growth. [Our] customers are aware of the value of our technologies and solutions, and this is why ... we are and remain the supplier of choice when it comes to polyurethanes applications," she added.
Saip recently supported one of its customers in Argentina in the upgrade of its line from discontinuous to continuous production. This allows the customer to not only significantly increased but its efficiency and productivity but also to enhance the quality of its foam."
