Maastricht, the Netherlands – Italian polyurethane machinery maker Saip has outlined some of the key new products and developments that will be on show at UTECH Europe 2018.
The company will have people on hand to explain the important details of its recently patented mouth-up foaming fixture. Secondly, Saip will detail its recently patented third-stream, high pressure mixing head.
The mouth-up technology comes with adjustable mould and an automatic plug heating system. It is designed to help producers of commercial refrigeration cabinets. It enables cabinet makers to use the same core while producing a number of different models. The company said that this can save refrigerator makers considerable amounts of time, cost and energy.
The third stream process allows the use of a third blowing agent on Saip or third-party foaming units. Material is directly recycled in the head, said the firm. The new head also features radial mixing, which the company said, gives better mixing.
In addition to these products, Saip will outline its:
- Contitech and Ditech products for continuous and discontinuous sandwich panel production.
- Reftech complete foaming lines for commercial and domestic refrigerators
- Piptech technology to make pre-insulated pipes and for insulating pipe joints.
- Sapitech customised products. These include rotary tables, oval carousels, stationary presses, mould carriers and gasket moulding systems.
Cedepa, the insulated panel test bed and research and development centre, which is run in conjunction with Dow Polyurethanes will form a special focus on the stand.
Saip will be exhibiting on stand 420.
