Zurich, Switzerland — Preliminary third quarter figures from Conzzeta show sales were CHF 1.14bn ($1.14bn) in the period. This is lower by 13% than the same period in 2018.
Once the sale of Conzzeta's glass business is accounted, the fall was 7%.
Sales down 10% in Q3 at FoamPartner division
The company's chemical specialties business is where it accounts for FoamPartner. In this division, sales subsided by 10% between the third quarter of 2018 and 2019. They were CHF 265.4m in the third quarter of 2018, compared with CHF 294.9m in the third quarter of 2019.
Over the whole of 2019, Conzzeta's management said it expects net revenue from continuing operations to be slightly lower than 2018. However, it expects each business segment to improve its EBIT.
