Sartomer releases new brochure on plastics modification

    Exton, Pennsylvania-Specialty chemicals manufacturer Sartomer Co. has issued a a 32-page brochure outlining the proper use of its products in plastic modification.

    The company says the new brochure, 'Sartomer Products for Plastic Modification' offers detailed information on all its resins, including Ricon resins, Poly bd resins and thermoplastic urethanes (TPUs), Krasol resins, SMA resins, and Acrylate and Methacrylate monomers.

    The brochure explains how these materials interact with plastics, offers technical data on features and benefits of Sartomer's products, and provides health, safety, and environmental information.

    Sartomer gives technical data given including barrier properties, compatibility, dielectric properties, compression set, impact strength, heat resistance, flexibility, and adhesion for the complete resin line.

    Also included are two technical papers, prepared by Sartomer chemists, on 'The versatility of (meth)acrylates in peroxide-cured thermoplastic elastomer vulcanisates' and 'Polybutadiene-based thermoplastic urethanes: chemistry and applications.'
