Neustadt/Donau, Germany - Dispensing equipment specialist Scheugenpflug AG says it will show visitors its latest product concept -- DesktopCNCell -- at Productronica, being held in Munich, Germany 15-17 Nov 2011.
Scheugenpflug says the DesktopCNCell "reveals its full processing potential where traditional manual work stations reach their limits." It is the first desktop cell to integrate a fully fledged piston metering unit with a three axis system, the company claims.
Also, it is the first of its size to process "even the most demanding dispensing media," said Scheugenpflug.
Areas of application include metering and dispensing tasks in small batch production of silicones, polyurethanes, epoxy resins and other industrial dispensing media. It is particularly suitable for processing abrasive media and highly filled materials, said Scheugenpflug, describing it as "perfect for dabbing adhesive or sealant beads and damming/filling of electronic components."
