Neustadt/Donau, Germany - Resin dispensing expert Scheugenpflug AG will highlight its solutions fro making high-voltage coils at the CWIEME (Coil Winding, Insulations, & Electrical Manufacturing Exhibition) show in Berlin, 22-24 June.

On Scheugenpflug's stand (3019) in Hall 2.2, it will show its advanced Dos A300 precision dispensing system and VDS Vacuum Dispensing Systems, designed to eliminate air bubbles in the production of wire coils and copper.

Scheugenpflug will showcase its tabletop Dos A300 dispensing unit, which it says "is perfect for the handling of humidity-sensitive materials that require vacuum processing." The Dos A300 is widely used for the dispensing, potting, filling, and sealing of coils as well as sensors, printed circuit boards, and more. It works in conjunction with one of Scheugenpflug's Vacuum Dispensing Units (VDS), which will also be on display.

According to Scheugenpflug, its automated dispensing systems use sophisticated vacuum capabilities in material preparation, feeding, and metering. This allows smooth, precise delivery of potting materials, which is especially important with winding components, says the company, because it ensures no air bubbles are in the final product. "This effectively protects the high-voltage insulation, and helps prevent corrosion over the long-term," the company said.

"Manufacturers of coils and wires know that air bubbles that can form in the dispensing materials or the tiny gaps between the wire coils during the potting process can significantly reduce or even completely destroy high-voltage insulation," explained Rainer Haslauer, product manager of Scheugenpflug, in the German group's 18 May announcement.
