Paris -- At the forthcoming JEC Composites 2011 show in Paris, 29-31 March, Scott Bader is launching Crystic Permabright, a high-performance gelcoat for good long term UV weathering performance with significantly improved colour stability.
Experts from Scott Bader will also be making three technical presentations during the show, including one on this new unsaturated polyester gelcoat technology.
Other presentations will cover recent advances in fire retardant systems, focusing on urethane acrylates and intumescent technology, with another covering the bonding of composites, plastics and metals with methyl methacrylate (MMA) adhesives.
Scott Bader will have on its stand (H46) the new Crystic Permabright spray and brush gelcoats along with other innovative new products in their speciality products range: closed mould and pultrusion Crestapol resins, Crestabond structural adhesives, plus low smoke fire retardant (FR) gelcoats and laminate systems with test approvals for a variety of building and land transport uses from Epiradeatuer NFP/ NFF, DIN; ASTM and CEN TS 45545-2 (Firestarr HL2) standards.
