New York – Seal For Life has acquired four further businesses, expanding its coating portfolio. SFL was itself acquired by Arsenal Capital Partners in July 2019. Arsenal has played a major role in restructuring the US polyurethane sector.
SFL’s business focuses on maintenance and repair products in industries such as water, waste water, oil, power generation and petrochemicals.
One of the four companies, LifeLast, specialises in PU protective linings and coatings for water, wastewater, OEM and industrial applications. It is based in Pflugerville, Texas.
The other three acquired businesses are Flame Control Coatings of Niagara Falls, New York; Highland International of Boone, North Carolina; and US Coatings of St Louis, Missouri.
The company also appointed a new CEO, Jeff Oravitz. He has been working in the global coatings industry for more than 30 years.
