Miskolc, Hungary - An official Chinese delegation from the People's Congress of the province of Shandong will visit Hungary, 8-12 March 2012.
The visit is an initiative of VOSZ (Hungary's National Organisation of Entrepreneurs and Employers) CCPIT (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade) and Wanhua Industrial Group, the Shandong-headquartered owners of BorsodChem.
The representatives of Shandong, China's third wealthiest province and a key engine of modern China's vibrant economic growth, have been invited by Dr Roland Mengyi, President of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Government.
The delegation will arrive in Miskolc on 9 March and will hold talks with their counterparts from Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County in eastern Hungary, as well as representatives from VOSZ and other Hungarian and Chinese organizations, concerning economic and cultural cooperation.
Shandong is one of China's top three most prosperous and advanced provinces, more populous than any EU country, larger than England, a press statement said.
The delegation from Shandong will explore cooperation and build ties on investment, trade and industrial partnerships between Shandong and Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County. Also participating will be representatives of China's CCPIT (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade), Hungary's KMUT (Chinese-Hungarian Business Council) and Wanhua BorsodChem.
