"Based upon projections, PDA feels that attendance figures will far exceed both the 2011 and 2010 annual meetings."
Flanagan noted that most of this growth is due to major changes made to the meeting's content with an expanded definition of membership, and meeting the needs of members and their market.
"We really listened to our members and developed a programme that met their needs," noted Flanagan. "We added technical sessions for formulators, more diverse content for contractor/
applicators, great networking opportunities and are bringing in relevant industry speakers."
The 2012 programme has three-and-a-half days of presentations for applicators, formulators, raw material suppliers, and other professionals within the thick-film high-performance elastomeric industry. The programme includes technical presentations, case studies, and the latest in delivery equipment.
A new feature is PDA's Annual Awards Luncheon where successful applications will be recognised for all attendees.
Training courses will be offered: an updated Basic Spray Course including Surface Prep; a new Advanced Spray Course; and a new 4 hour Technology Intro Cou.
