Houston, Texas ,-- Memory-foam bedding maker Sinomax USA Inc. launched a Comfort Equation line of memory foam products in New York last week. The company says the Comfort Equation line combines the best in memory foam comfort with the performance and durability of Tencel, a sustainably sourced fibre made from eucalyptus trees.

Sinomax USA is covering several grades of memory foam, including its proprietary PureFoam products, with Lenzing's sustainable Tencel fabric. Sinomax USA, a producer of CertiPUR-US certified memory foam, have engineered this line of products to regulate temperature and help with more restful sleep.

"Our research indicates that uncomfortable sleeping is related to moisture and temperature. That's because moisture amplifies temperature-based discomfort. So, night sweats during winter will leave you feeling colder, and during summer months, perspiration on covers will make hot feel like boiling," said Steven Romero, Sinomax USA vice pesident of Marketing, in a company statement.

This line is designed to perform year round, in both warm and cold climates. Romero adds.

Sinomax USA claims its PureFoam products are the first "holistically formulated" foam products for the bedding industry.

They are a response to consumer concerns of polyurethane memory foam contamination and an unpleasant long-term odour, Sinomax says.

Sinomax says it has comprehensive sourcing procedure and an intensive quality control process. "In order to achieve high-quality standards, Sinomax only imports raw materials from the world's most reputable chemical suppliers," said Frank Chen, Sinomax ceo, in a company statement.

The foam uses Cargill's soya-based BioH polyol, which contains activated charcoal to eliminate odours in the foam, Chen added.

Sinomax USA is headquartered in Houston, with manufacturing facilitiesin Jiashan, China and Dongguan, China, as well as three distributioncenters in Houston, Carson, California; and Savannah, Georgia.
