San Diego, California - Mattress maker Sleep Comfort now offers three types of memory foam mattresses to customers. Its Classic 10-inch (25.4 cm) mattress, with 3 inches of MDI (methylene diphenyl diisocyanate-based) memory foam, has a firmer feel. The 12-inch Comfort Cloud Mattress has 5 inches of memory foam, for a softer feel.
And it also offers the 13-inch Gel Infused Mattress, with 3 inches of gel-infused memory foam on top of 3 inches of MDI memory foam. The latter gives "the coolest-feeling memory foam mattress on the market today," claims Sleep Comfort.
All Sleep Comfort memory foam mattresses are made from MDI memory foam, which the company claims is "a superior form of memory foam, with a smaller cell structure for increased durability, air flow, and recovery time."
MDI memory foam is also more environmentally benign, with low emissions of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and are made without mercury, lead or formaldehyde, the company says.
Sleep Comfort comments that all memory foam mattresses are not equal, so it strives to educate the public on MDI memory foam verses TDI (toluene diisocyanate-based) memory foam. The company calls this "an inferior product sold by many mattress and adjustable bed companies."
The mattress maker has also revamped its YouTube page to demonstrate the differences between its mattresses and others on the market.
