Luxembourg - Solid tyre maker Solideal International SA has added three service centres in France to cover the country better. The centres, in Lyon (east); Valenciennes (north) and Agen (south west), "will help us ensure that all our customers across France get optimal service," said Mathieu Tarrade, general manager of Solideal France, in a company announcement.
All three service centres operate 'Just-In-Time' stock management, supported by the company's new headquarters near Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, Tarrade added.
The new service centres have in-shop and mobile tyre presses as well as urethane filling stations.
"The mobile fleet utilises extra large trucks to give our teams the possibility to have enough stock in the truck to service more customers and cope with emergency situations, without coming back to the service centre," Tarrade commented.
Solideal is a global producer of solid and pneumatic tyres for industrial and material handling uses.
