Dubai, UAE — Honeywell said its Solstice liquid blowing agent has been chosen by Technical Supplies and Services (TSSC) for use in its range of insulating polyurethane and PIR foam panels.
TSSC's adoption "reflects the commitment of the Middle East foam industry to transition to lower-global-warming potential materials," said Honeywell.
The decision fits with the UAE's Estidama programme which describes sustainable building systems in the country, Honeywell added. The plan rewards developers which use insulation products with a global warming potential of less than five.
“We are committed to producing energy-efficient materials that help our customers transition to next-generation products like our metal panels made with Solstice LBA,” said Miro Donabedian, general manager, Polyurethane & Refrigeration systems, TSSC.
