Washington, DC -- Spray polyurethane foam sales within the US and export sales increased by 22 percent from the first three quarters of 2008 to the first three quarters of 2011, according to statistics released today by the Spray Foam Coalition (SFC).
Those interested in the spray polyurethane foam industry can now obtain historical in-depth sales data by region and type of spray foam. The SFC, part of the Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI), is launching a quarterly statistical data programme for high-pressure SPF products, to provide business statistics about the sector.
The data is available for purchase on CPI's website <http://polyurethane.americanchemistry.com/About-CPI/Spray-Foam-Coalition/Spray-Polyurethane-Foam-Statistics.html>
The data now available covers Q1 2008 through Q3 2011 and includes the total amount of SPF sold during those periods, broken down by open-cell, closed-cell and roofing spray foam. In addition to foam type, these data specify historical sales information for nine US regions, Canada and other exports.
In future, quarterly data will also be available through an annual subscription, beginning with the 2011 statistical reports.
