Dallas, Texas - The Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance (SPFA) has given a final call for submissions to its SPFA industry excellence awards. The awards give organisations the chance to receive recognition "for superior work in spray foam application," SPFA said in a 2 Dec announcement.
The deadline to submit projects is 9 Dec 2011. SPFA will announce the winners at a 1 Feb awards lunch, as part of the annual SPFA spray foam conference & expo, held in Dallas, Texas from 30 Jan to 2 Feb 2012.
"SPF is one of the best all around insulation and roofing technologies available," the organisation said. "The adoption rate for SPF over the past 10 years tells the story. But as is the case with every story, ours needs some main characters!"
A panel of industry experts will serve as the judges who will select the projects that stand out from the rest in excellence. The judging process will be blind, meaning that judges will not know to whom the entries belong, so that the selection will be based solely on the quality of the project.
Awards will be presented for the following categories:
1. Residential wall SPF- 1st and 2nd place
2. Commercial wall SPF- 1st and 2nd place
3. Roof SPF< 40 000 sq.ft - 1st and 2nd place
4. Roof SPF> 40 000 sq.ft - 1st and 2nd place
5. Speciality Applications - 1st and 2nd place
