New York - Polyurethane sponge developer Spongetech Delivery Systems, Inc. is to sell 250 000 units - half in kits and half as individual items-via SA Trading Group Corp., the New York based company announced 9 May.
The $1.5-million value order is to be delivered during September and October, for export to South America, the company said.
Spongetech Delivery Systems makes vehicle-cleaning products based on patented sponges containing hydrophilic (liquid-absorbing) foam polyurethane matrices. The sponges have an inner matrix loaded with specially formulated soaps and wax that are released when the sponge is applied to a surface with minimal pressure.
Spongetech is also exploring using this patented technology to develop other uses, for example with anti-bacterial, bath and kitchen soaps for household uses, and as a children's bath sponge. epw."
