Landskron, Austria - The second European International Spray Course will be held 21- 24 April 2008 at the facility of spray equipment maker GAMA in Barcelona, Spain.
Course instructors Lee Bower and Dudley Primeaux II are pioneers of polyurea coatings and well known all over the world, according to organiser FastSetPowerUnits of Landskron.
The course corresponds to the international course-level of the PDA (Polyurea Development Association) and participants receive the international certificate of PolyVers Int., according to the organisers.
Participation on this course will help with all coating work and operating of coating units and spray-guns. Spray techniques are also a part of this course, which concludes with an exam.
The theoretical parts cover polyurea definitions and technology, systems, testing, types of coating units and spray guns, as well as the basics of spray application and materials. Participants will also be taught about safe materials handling and correct surface preparation and primers as well as spray techniques
On the practical side, delegates will get an introduction to coating units and spray guns and their correct set-up, learn about different guns for different surfaces, practice different spray techniques, look at potential causes of failure, and learn how to shut-off and clean guns properly.
The three-day course costs Euro 1400, with the option of one day only for Euro 350.
