Dallas, Texas - This year's 2012 Annual Convention and Trade Show of the Insulation Contractors Association of America (ICAA), to be held 4-6 Oct at the Hyatt Regency Dallas, will have a major emphasis on the spray foam sector, the organisers say.
The ICAA Trade Show is a once-a-year opportunity for insulation suppliers and contractors to network and talk business, says ICCA.
Its three-day meeting features educational programmes that target new technology, essential business skills, and ever-changing industry regulations and opportunities. The presentations are selected because they have the greatest impact on the insulation industry, ICCA notes.
ICAA anticipates a record number of exhibitors who will display diverse insulation products and services. This year, it says, the spray foam industry has "outstanding representation among exhibitors with companies from across the country displaying new products and innovations."
Of particular interest to spray foam contractors will be a session on: "Maximising the Efficiency of the Spray Foam Job," which ICCA says will demonstrate that quality controls for spray foam work will ensure more economical, higher quality jobs. Insulators will learn how to inspect the substrate, spray on-ratio to assess adhesion and cohesion, spot check foam quality, and evaluate field problems.
