New Canaan, Connecticut -- US polyurethane insulation and coatings company Spray Foam Polymers has opened a prototype full-service regional warehouse in Norwalk, Connecticut, to help train and develop local customers.
The unit will cater for all aspects of spray foam insulation and roofing, from parts to foam, equipment rentals and training, the company said in an 8 June statement.
Spray Foam Polymers, manufacturer of ThermoSeal brand spray foam and other related products, said it will test this full-service concept in a few local markets. If the programme is successful, the firm plans to roll out the concept nationally.
"The spray foam industry is an ever-changing, very competitive environment," said Richard Ettinger, general manager of Spray Foam Polymers. "We have found that local installers need faster service, quicker support, and same-day localised service. As the industry matures, it is apparent these immediate localised services are increasingly more critical. "
With 12 locations across the US, Spray Foam Polymers makes PU foam insulation, roofing and coatings for the residential, commercial and industrial markets, as well as providing equipment and training to qualified applicators.
