New Canaan, Connecticut -- Spray Foam Polymers has received ICC (International Code Council) approval for its ThermoSeal 500 open cell spray foam and ThermoSeal 2100 closed cell spray foam.
The New Canaan, Connecticut-headquartered company said ICC approval will allow more customers to use ThermoSeal products in "new key markets" across the US.
SPF noted in a 30 Aug announcement that the approval is not a requirement but that the company believes ICC approval will raise competitiveness and enable significant future growth.
"We are pleased to receive this ICC status on our key products," said Richard Ettinger, general manager of Spray Foam Polymers. "While we have always prided ourselves on having the best and most advanced spray foam technologies in the business, these ICC approvals add significant credibility and further our name brand recognition."
The company also announced that several new spray foam products and technologies are currently undergoing testing and are expected to be ICC-approved by early 2012.
