Ohio, US – Spray foam insulation manufacturer SprayWorks Equipment is marking Women’s History Month with a scholarship for teaching the next generation of female business owners how to operate equipment and supply spray PU foam.
The Canton-based company, which also produces coatings rigs and acts as distributor for Graco, PMC and Titan, is accepting applications this month via its website. Applicants are asked to submit a 250-word essay about why they or a nominee of their choice would benefit from spray foam training, and winners will receive free one-day spray foam training.
The objective of the contest is not only to amplify women’s voices in the industry, but to inspire future generations to consider careers in spray foam and construction.
“Female business ownership in our industry has grown significantly over the last decade,” said Jennifer Hristovski, partner for SprayWorks Equipment. “We're excited to uplift and enrich our industry with tomorrow’s female business owners.”
