Canton, Ohio – SprayWorks Equipment Group has launched a new automatic applicator. The Coaterbot is designed for applying both coatings and SPF.
SprayWorks introduces Coaterbot spray robot

The machine was created to cover a broader spectrum of material applications. It allows precision application to be achieved, with a tolerance of ±2mm. It can be controlled either mechanically or by computer.
The company claims that it allows at least 10% savings to be made in material usage. An optional spray foam application adapter is available.
Like SprayWorks’ earlier machine, the Spraybot, it allows a 2m wide pass to be made, with a variable height of 30–90 cm, operating with a two-person crew. However, the new device allows a much broader range of materials to be applied, including foam, coatings and polyurea.
‘I designed the Coaterbot with a broader range of material applications in mind,’ said Jim Davidson, SprayWorks’ owner. ‘Catering primarily to airless and conventional multi-component applications, it creates labour and material savings with unmatched precision.’
