North Carolina, US – Stahl has opened a new Centre of Excellence in Apex, North Carolina. The Dutch-headquartered company said it underscores its long-standing connection to the US market – it was originally founded in the US as a leather finishing supplier in 1930.

The new centre is designed to be an innovation hub within the company’s global network as part of its Performance Coatings business. It will support customers in a range of industries, including automotive, apparel, luxury goods, packaging and home furnishings.
It includes application technology, testing facilities and pilot production capabilities. It will provide a space for customers, OEMs and brand partners to co-develop and refine products tailored to the needs of the market.
