London, UK – Fashion designer Stella McCartney’s latest collection includes a range of shoes and bags made from polyurethane.
McCartney stopped using PVC in her products in 2010, and has now alighted on PU to enable see-through products to be made.

The clear pieces include bags and totes, sneakers and shoes. ‘We are excited to have developed something with the same look and feel [as PVC] that is kinder to the environment,’ the designer’s company says.
The bags are 100% PU; the shoes and boots are either all-PU or predominantly PU, with smaller amounts of polyester and cotton.
