Northfield Illinois - Stepan Co., a US-based manufacturer of polyester polyols, is increasing its prices for Stepanol polyester polyols for the flexible foam industry in North America by $0.15/lb, a 24 Aug Stepan statement said.
The price increases, effective 15 Sep 2009 is necessary due to rising raw material costs, the company said.
From 1 Oct 2009, Stepan will also increase its prices for Stepanol rigid, aromatic polyester polyols by $0.05/lb, the company said 31 Aug. (RD)
