Vicq, France — Stockmeier Urethanes France bought systems house Uranie Production based in Vicq on 1 August 2018.
Uranie will continue to produce and supply products for Stockmeier until the end of 2018. Production is scheduled to move to Stockmeier’s site in Cernay, France from 1 January 2019.
Expansion investments are underway in Cernay to support the additional capacity requirements from this acquisition.
Uranie was founded in 1998, and specialises in rigid and flexible foam systems. The company's range of products is distributed in Western Europe and North Africa.
Christian Martinkat is Stockmeier Urethanes Group's chairman. He said: 'We are pleased with this new addition to our business and have great expectations for growth in Europe, Asia and North America.'
Stockmeier Urethanes was founded in 1991 in Germany. Its business is focused on CASE products for the sports and industrial markets.
