Lemgo, Germany -- Stockmeier Urethanes said it has made "substantial investments" and expanded polyurethane production during 2010, setting up a new facility in Lemgo, about 20 km east of its Bielefeld headquarters, to house the expanded capacity.

Stockmeier Urethanes also moved its R&D and quality control department to Lemgo in July this year and said recently that the final construction is finished, with installation of prepolymer production.
Start-up of prepolymer manufacture was timed to coincide with the official opening of Stockmeier Urethanes's new location, which was celebrated in September 2010.
