Mesa, Arizona -- SWD Urethane has recently hired spray foam veterans, Barry Holloway and Jim McDougall, to add to SWD's growing sales team as the company moves to increase its presence in the south and east of the US.
SWD Urethane claims it has been "one of the fastest growing spray polyurethane foam providers for wall insulation and roofing foam over the last three years."
The company said it has identified growth in the US Southeast as a top priority in its continuing growth strategy.
Jim Perkins, president of SWD Urethane, said, "getting two industry leaders to join our sales team will definitely aid our expansion into the South. Both Barry Holloway and Jim McDougall bring over 20 years of experience in the sprayfoam industry."
Holloway will be national sales manager - East, joing Steve Hurd, national sales manager - West. Holloway has years of experience with Johns Manville and Icynene, and observed: "I don't think there is a company better positioned than SWD within the marketplace. We offer great products and service and are committed to partnering with our customers to build their success."
McDougall becomes regional sales manager for the Southeast. "This is very familiar ground for me," said Jim, "I started Icynene's business down in Florida and the south, and helped build market acceptance for open cell foam." McDougall joins SWD after representing Icynene for 17 years and NCFI for 3.
As a licensed contractor, and HERS rater, McDougall offered this perspective: "The battle of which insulation is better was decided years ago, with spray polyurethane foam clearly emerging as the winner. No one can deny the building performance advantages and reduced energy costs that foam delivers. The challenge that remains, is educating builders and consumers."
SWD Urethane is headquartered in Mesa, Arizona and has been serving the sprayfoam market since 1972, offering a full range of sprayfoam solutions for roofing and building envelope performance.
