Phoenix, Arizona – Quik-Shield 112XC closed-cell spray foam from SWD Urethane has been evaluated by the Air Barrier Association of America (ABAA).
It can now be used on any ABAA-specified commercial construction projects.
The company claims the SPF has the lowest application temperatures of any marketed closed-cell foam. It can be applied at temperatures as low as –5°C (23°F).
Paul Warren is SWD Urethane’s codes and engineering manager. He said: ‘We are excited to bring value to our customers through this evaluation. Along with ABAA we look forward to championing air barrier standards'.
