Lexington, Kentucky — Tempur Sealy’s Q3 2016 net sales were reported at $ 832m, a decrease of 5.4% on the $ 880m reported in Q3 2015.
On a constant currency basis, total net sales decreased 4.6%, with a decrease of 5.8% in the North America business segment and an increase of 1.8% in the International business segment.
EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) increased 27.7% to $ 155m compared to $ 121m in Q3 2015.
North America net sales were $ 698.5m, 5.8% lower than $741.2 m in Q3 2015 and international net sales decreased 3.5% to $ 134m from $ 139m in Q3 2015. On a constant currency basis, international net sales increased 1.8%.
The company currently expects adjusted EBITDA for the full year 2016 to range from $ 500m to $525m.
