Lexington, Kentucky – Tempur Sealy’s Tempur-Pedic North America brand is to be the official sleep provider to the US Ski and Snowboard Association to the end of 2016, the firm announced.
"To compete at a world-class level in skiing, free-skiing and snowboarding requires incredible athleticism and endless hours of training as well as quality rest and recovery," said Patrice Varni, senior vice president of brand marketing for Tempur-Pedic. "We look forward to delivering the best night's sleep for USSA athletes, just as we do for Tempur-Pedic owners around the world."
"Quality sleep is a critical element to achieving peak performance for any USSA athlete," said Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn. "As a Tempur-Pedic owner, I am pleased that they have joined our team and look forward to their continued support."
Tempur-Pedic will start its partnership with the USSA with a Tempur-Pedic Sleep Center at the USSA's Center of Excellence in Park City, Utah. Additionally, Tempur-Pedic will be an associate sponsor of the U.S. Freestyle Championships scheduled for March 27-29, 2015 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
