Sacramento, California -- Tom Schaal, vice president of sales and marketing at Thermal Roof Systems (TRS), which claims to be one of the top US installers of spray polyurethane foam (SPF) roofing, has joined the board of Rebuilding Together Sacramento.
The group is a not-for-profit organisation that looks to create affordable, safe and efficient housing through home repairs and modifications on existing homes.
"At TRS, community involvement is important and we encourage all of our employees to be active participants where we live, work and play," said Al Kennedy, general manager of TRS.
TRS' 29 April announcement said that the company is involved in efforts to aid Sacramento and nearby communities, and will donate materials and install SPF roofs on several dilapidated houses in the region for the Rebuilding Together programme.
"Helping the community has always been a priority and something that I enjoy doing. Not only does the Rebuilding Together team help homeowners in need, but the corporate sponsor's volunteer workers get a great team-building experience - one that results in better Monday through Friday productivity," said Schaal.
