Ulsan, Korea - April 2, 2013 - Songwon Industrial Group announced that on
April 1, Thomas Schmutz was appointed director of global technical service. He replaces,Joachim Bayer, who moves into a strategic business management role.
Thomas will be responsible for leading the technical service team, providing technical direction for the company's product range including polyurethanes, and supporting the commercial organization in implementing value propositions and new product introductions.
Schmutz joins Songwon after holding senior leadership positions most recently at Chemtura Europe, Ciba Specialty Chemicals and Dow Europe and holds a degree in Polymer Engineering & Science from the Montan University (Austria).
