Brussels –– EuroPUR's board has approved the membership applications of three new regular members: Correct and Dendro from Poland and Nova Sunger from Turkey.
The three companies have been invited to present themselves to the rest of the Europur membership at its General Assembly on 9 June 2015 in Frankfurt, Germany. This will be the occasion to endorse their membership and formally welcome them to our association, EuroPUR said.
Correct of Nowe Skalmierzyce, Poland, is part of the C4D Furniture Group, which also has production facilities in the US. Correct makes foam for the group's captive consumption in one of the largest mattresses and furniture upholstery factories in Europe. Daily production capacity is up to 4000 pieces of upholstered furniture and 7000 mattresses, said EuroPUR.
Dendro Poland makes foam mattresses for Ikea and operates one of the largest mattresses production plants in Europe, with a production of over 2 m pieces/year. Foam production covers standard ether foam, HR foam and visco-elastic foam. The company also operates its own re-polyol facility to recycle production waste polyurethane foam into new raw materials, said EuroPUR.
Nova Sunger offers polyurethane foam as part of a portfolio of finished and semi-finished goods including industrial wire, mattress spring, fiber products. The company is headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey and has production facilities in Sakarya, Turkey. Nova Sunger’s foams are used in the automotive sector, furniture and mattresses, clothing and sport applications, sound insulation, packaging and medical and industrial uses, said EuroPUR.
