Quanzhou, Fujian – Tianjiao Chemical’s 40kT/year polymeric polyether polyol project came on stream on 25 June, the first continuous production line for such material in southern China, according to the company.
Tianjiao Chemical starts up polymerised polyol project
Located in the Quangang Petrochemical Industrial Park in Quanzhou, Fujian, the project was completed by China National Chemical Engineering and has 51,000 m2 total area. It employs 64 staff and has received CNY 185m ($24m) investment.
Two products, POP-2045 and POP-H45, are made at the new facility to be used for high-load-bearing flexible foam blocks and thermal molded foam.
Tianjiao Chemical was set up in August 2015 in Quanzhou as a subsidiary of Fujian’s conglomerate Tianjiao Investment. The company develops and produces polyurethane materials and other chemicals, and is planning another project for fine chemicals.
