Petrolia, Ontario -- TigerFoam Canada Inc., a supplier of Do-It-Yourself polyurethane spray foam (SPF) insulation kits, has completed its Canada Construction Materials Centre (CCMC) evaluation for non-standardised materials, for use in all types of construction, the company said 27 Jan.
TigerFoam president Rob Irvine said the CCMC evaluation will give end users and specifiers confidence that they are using an enhanced-performance product that "both meets and exceeds the construction and renovation industry expectations."
TigerFoam's PU insulation has recently been used in the construction of the 2010 Winter Olympic Athletes Village in Vancouver, Canada, the statement added. (RD)
