Amsterdam, The Netherlands - Tosoh Europe's stand at the European Coatings Show 2013 will feature Tosoh Corp.'s Toyocat DB catalyst series which are designed to replace metal catalyst in aromatic isocyanate based polyurethanes for use in CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers).
From Tosoh's Nippon Polyurethane Industry business, the stand will display the Japanese group's Nippollan polycarbonate diols and Coronate aliphatic isocyanates.
Meanwhile from Hodogaya Chemical, Tosoh will show polyols base on PTMEG (polytetramethylene ether glycol) and ODI: octadecyl isocyanate.
Other products on display include Tosoh Organic Chemicals' Spinomar NaSS: Sodium Styrene Sulfonate and PolyNaSS materials, as well as Tosoh's F-Tech fluorine chemicals division's TFEMA: trifluoroethyl methacrylate. Tosoh says TFEMA and NaSS can be used in acrylic based polyols for polyurethanes.
Tosoh will also offer visitors in Nuremberg some insight into other group products: YTZ Grinding Media, which Tosoh claims has "the lowest wear in the world."
ECS 2013 takes place 19-21 March at the Nuremberg Messe.
