Skelmersdale, UK -- Trelleborg Offshore, a global manufacturer of polymer and syntactic foam-based solutions for the offshore industry, has appointed Eric Wallis as senior vice president of innovation.
Wallis, who has 20 years experience in materials research and development, joins Trelleborg from BASF. He previously held senior positions at Ciba Speciality Chemicals and Chevron Philips, as well as petroleum company, Philips Petroleum.
In his new role, Wallis will be responsible for leading the global innovation strategy for Trelleborg Offshore, managing the product solutions group and responsible for all R&D activity within the wider Offshore organisation.
