Mississauga, Ontario -- TrimTech Interior Soft Trim Solutions, a Woodbridge Group unit, says it will cooperate globally with Multimatic, an industry leader in automotive mechanisms, in design, engineering, prototyping and production of automotive trim solutions.
For Multimatic, Ryan Marshall, executive director - Sales & Engineering, Multimatic Mechanisms, adds, "Combining Multimatic's mechanism development and manufacturing expertise with TrimTech's polyurethane formulating and moulding capabilities will deliver exciting new options for automotive manufacturers, looking to offer interior trim products with greater functionality and comfort, such as our new 4-way and flip-fold head-restraints."
TrimTech, known for its head restraints, armrests, bolsters and closure panels, now offers expanded capabilities including complete assemblies, foam-in-place, foam and assembly and foam-only options.
TrimTech says its products' advantages include: improved comfort, cost savings, mass reductions, superior design flexibility and enhanced craftsmanship, all achieved through complete trim development.
