Istanbul, Turkey – Turkish sandwich PU foam panel maker Assan Panel plans to raise export sales by 50% in three years.

The company says it offers a wide range of insulated panels. These are based on galvanised or aluminium corrugated plates filled with PU, and also PIR.
The company is considering investments near the Caspian Sea; the Middle East; and, Africa, according to senior company representatives.
'The Iraqi market offers great potential for Turkey,' Ihsan Tolga Akar, said talking to Dunya, a business paper. Akar is Assan Panel's general manager.
Assan Panel operates three facilities, fitted with a total of four production lines. These are located in Tuzla, in western Turkey; Iskenderun, in the country’s south-east; and Balikesir, in the north-west.
In addition, the company owns a fourth factory, located in Al Mafraq, Jordan. This is around 45 km (30 miles) Northeast of Dmanan.
With 4.5m m2/year capacity, Assan said its plant in Al Mafraq is the largest panel plant in the Middle East.
The plant in Tuzla has production capacity of about 18m m2/year; Balikesir 3m m2/year; and, Iskenderun 3m m2/year. The plant in Jordan has an output capacity of 4.5m m2/year.
