Brussels, Belgium -- Umicore is distributing its Valikat non-toxic catalysts in Spain and Portugal through Pure Chemicals Iberica.
The polyurethane production catalysts, typically Neodecanoic salts of bismuth or zinc, offer a safe alternative to traditional mercury or tin-based catalysts, said Umicore.
They are suitable in the manufacturing of coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers and flexible foam, the company said.
