Bethesda, Maryland -- The ASC has outlined a six-point plan following an extensive research into member's needs and a two-day committee meeting.
The organization has pledged to deliver core fundamental education and experiential learning throughout its members' careers as well as facilitate knowledge-sharing across the adhesive and sealant community and accelerate innovation across the adhesive and sealant supply chain.
Following the meeting in August this year, it was decided that the organization would also work to unify the industry voice by communicating the benefits of the adhesive and sealant industry and create compelling ways to tell the adhesive and sealant story to inform and influence important audiences.
Promoting the adhesive and sealant industry, minimising barriers to market growth and providing organisational alignment, enabling infrastructure, leadership and operational excellence to support the council.
ASC president Matthew Croson said: "This process included the largest number of responses ASC ever had to a survey and combined 105 hours of face-to-face discussion in the planning committee and an additional 80 hours of combined review time with the Board of Directors.
"Now, the efforts move to the next level with the development of a three-year roadmap that will include planning for new programs and services that can support member responses to these challenges," he added.
