The largest source of imports to the US in July was Mexico, which provided 291,000 mattresses. Indonesia came second with 286,000 units, Taiwan third with 164,000 units, and Kosovo fourth, with 103,000 units of the July total. The fifth largest exporter in July was Turkey, which was responsible for 62,038 units.
In July 2020, the largest source of imports was Vietnam, which generated 458,000 units. Indonesia, with 282,000 units, was second. Malaysia was third, and accounted for 224,000 units.
In total, the five largest sources of imports accounted for 1.36m units, or 66% of the total in July 2021. In July 2020, the top five importers accounted for 70% of the total, with 1.88m imports between them.
