Washington, DC - In the first 11 months of 2019, the US imported 6.46m refrigerators. This is down by 9.60m units on the 160.6m imported in the same period in 2018, representing a 59.8% fall.
In November 2019, the country imported a total of 581,000 refrigerators. This is a 63% fall, and is equivalent to 970,000 fewer units.
In the first 11 months of the year, the largest source of exports to the US was China, which provided 5.8m refrigerators. Mexico followed China, with 246,000 units, then Canada with 86,000 units and Turkey with 71,000 units.
