Washington, DC – In the first 10 months of 2020, the US imported 9.69m refrigerators. This is an increase of 3.81m units on the 5.88m units imported in the same period in 2019.
The largest source of imports to the US in the first 10 months of the year was China, which provided 9.05 m refrigerators. China was followed by Mexico with 188,209 units, Thailand with 160,303 units and Canada with 72,287 units.
In October 2020, the US imported a total of 1.46m refrigerators, up by 840,000 units or 136% on the same month last year
