Fairfax, Virginia - The Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance in the US has appointed Kurt Riesenberg as its executive director. He took up the post 5 July. Riesenberg comes to SPFA and the spray polyurethane foam sector from the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). An SPFA statement said Riesenberg "accomplished much during his seven year stay at NEMA." He functioned successfully as director of operations for six of NEMA's largest business units, served as executive director to two of NEMA's external associations, assisted in creating new business and membership growth, as well as "maneuvering the industries through challenging legislative, regulatory and technical environments." Additionally, Riesenberg has "experience in energy efficiency and environmental stewardship promotion, strategic development, and industry relations," the SPFA statement added. epw"
